Online Education: Estate Planning Basics

Education is a top priority at Cain & Cain. We enjoy helping our clients make informed decisions about their estate plans, as well as helping others to learn more about the estate planning process, and any issues affecting their estate planning.  There is no charge for this event, anyone is welcome to attend!

CAIN & CAIN, Estate Planners for Life™

The Empowered Estate Plan® Presentation

Our presentation is about empowering you and your family to create, maintain and implement a successful estate plan, a plan that works. No matter how you're currently positioned our goal is to help you begin the process of putting together a plan that works for you and your family.

With proper planning you can be:

· Empowered to design and implement a plan to ensure you are cared for in your later years the way you prefer, and without necessary stress and regret on the part of your caregivers

· Empowered to ensure your children are reared the way you intend, with proper guidance and resources

· Empowered to maintain control of your finances as long as that makes sense - in your opinion! And to transfer the distinctions and approaches you've discovered, including those who helped you most, on to your loved ones

· Empowered as a surviving spouse to better handle the grieving period and your move to your "new normal," whatever that turns out to be for you - possibly even including remarriage!

· Empowered to protect your loved ones from life risks such as lawsuit creditors, failed marriages and catastrophic illness

· Empowered as an inheritor to better use your inheritance to meet your own goals with comfort and confidence

· Empowered to leave a legacy more than just financial that reflects your own values and beliefs

Back to Basics (Client Event)

BACK TO BASICS

If this is your year to update your plan (if your trust is dated in a odd numbered year) you will have already received your Estate Planning Review Worksheet and instructions on participating in the Client Update Program this year. The Back to Basics event is primarily for clients who are updating their plans this year. However, if we have enough available seats we welcome any clients to join in on this estate planning “refresher”.

When and Where:

Thursday, August 1 at 6pm

Cain and Cain Office

1770 West Main St. Norman

WHAT IS BACK TO BASICS, AND HOW WILL IT HELP ME PARTICIPATE IN THE CLIENT UPDATE PROGRAM?

Think of Back to Basics as a refresher course for estate planning.  Most of our EPFL members who are eligible for the Client Update Program this year have not needed to review their documents since 2017, when they were either designing their estate plans, or were participating in the Client Update Program that year.   At the Back to Basics event we will refresh your memory on what you learned during the design or latest review of your estate plan.   If you have not completed and returned the Estate Planning Review Worksheet before the Back to Basics event, we encourage you to bring it to the event with you, along with any questions you have.  Many clients have brought their worksheets to this event in the past and where able to complete and return them to us at the end of the meeting.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR THE EVENT:

In order to prepare for your attendance, we ask that everyone registers for this event in advance.  You may register by any of the following:

Online: www.CainandCainLaw.com/register
